Steven
Grenbeaux showing Leadership.
"I tried to lead, nobody followed,
and that's the whole point."
Mayor Sabatino
The Modesto Bee
June 12, 2003
I believe that the most important issue in this campaign
is leadership. By leadership I mean the ability to get a
diverse group of people to work together to achieve a common
goal. It is the ability to build consensues and find compromises
that allow the job to get done. It is also being able to
disagree without being disagreeable. I have held many leadership
positions in the military and public service where I have
demonstrated these skills. I have been praised by my colleagues
on the school board and The Modesto Bee for my ability to
provide positive leadership. As mayor I will provide Modesto
with leadership, balance, and integrity.
"Grenbeaux
is an Empire elementary school teacher who has related well

"...and
it is true that Grenbeaux has shown an independence that
puts his responsibility to the greater community ahead of
his personal and professional concerns."
-The Modesto Bee, March 3.1983
"We

records of positive public service. We support. the election
