Steven Grenbeaux's Vision for Modesto.

Modesto can be a thriving community with a robust economy, business friendly attitude, and a vibrant central core. It can have a myriad of cultural opportunities, growth that pays for itself, and a public safety sector that is second to none. In order to get to this point the city will need a long range plan with goals and objectives. While on the Modesto Board of Education I initiated and facilitated a process that developed long and short term goals with measurable objectives. The city of Modesto needs a similar process.

As mayor I would initiate a series of public forums with specific topics. The council would use this input, staff reports, and their own concerns to develop the budget and public policy. This process needs the type of leadership that I have demonstrated in the past and would continue to exhibit as mayor.
